Education:

- Nathan and Matthew landed sports scholarships to go to Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. They pursued professional soccer careers in the United States and for nine months in Florence, Italy.

Nathan’s Fact:

• His identical twin Matthew Leone is the bassist in Madina Lake.
• His first tattoo was a wizard holding fire on his right thigh. He got this tattoo when he was 16 year old.

• Nathan fell out of a grocery cart when he was five, tearing a muscle in his eye, so he had to wear a patch and glasses for much of his childhood.

Musical Career:

• The brothers then decided to get involved in music. They had formed their first band, The Blank Theory, in 1998. In the early days of The Blank Theory, they also formed an independent label called 4 Alarm Records which also included The Frogs, The Pinehurst Kids, and Monkey Paw.

• Nathan and Matthew appeared on a special edition of Twin Fear Factor, which they won. The winnings from Fear Factor went to the recording process of Madina Lake's first self-produced EP called The Disappearance of Adalia that came out in early 2006. Later that year, they were signed to Roadrunner Records and created their first full length album entitled From Them, Through Us, To You, which was released in March 2007.
